Long nuts, also called coupling nuts, join two lengths of threaded rod end to end or extend a stud. The extended length engages more thread on each side, so the joint develops close to the full strength of the rod rather than failing at the coupling.
Supplied in bulk to distributors, importers and hardware brands worldwide, including private-label packaging in the customer's own branding. Non-standard sizes and made-to-drawing variants are produced to order, with a material test certificate on every consignment.
