Rack base plates take concentrated loads and forklift knocks, so use a heavy-duty through-bolt anchor rated for cracked concrete, keep clear of slab joints and edges, and follow the racking manufacturer's anchor specification. Tell us the slab thickness and the upright load and we'll confirm the size.
Electroplated zinc can grow microscopic metal “zinc whiskers” over time. If they break off and get drawn into servers, they can short circuits. Many data centre specs call for hot-dip galvanised, zinc-flake coated or stainless fasteners instead — share yours and we'll match the finish.
