PTFE-coated stud bolts combine a specified metal stud with a fluoropolymer coating system selected to provide low friction and help resist chemical attack in compatible service conditions. Coating changes the friction behaviour and can affect torque-totension relationships, so the coating system and tightening procedure must be agreed for the joint. Compatibility depends on the chemical, temperature, pressure and substrate. Confirm the base material, coating specification, dimensional allowance and test documentation before quoting or publishing.
Bulk supply, private-label packaging and made-to-drawing variants may be offered subject to Canco’s actual capability and order agreement. Material test certificates and other documentation should be confirmed before they are stated as available.
