Rock bolts reinforce rock masses by tying potentially unstable layers or blocks into more competent material. Depending on the design, systems may use solid bars, hollow bars, expansion shells, resin or grout anchorage, and bearing plates. The correct bolt type and installation method depend on rock conditions, excavation geometry and the required support design. Productspecific dimensions, load capacity and corrosion protection must be taken from the approved technical data. Bulk supply, private-label packaging and made-to-drawing variants may be offered subject to Canco’s actual capability and order agreement. Material test certificates and other documentation should be confirmed before they are stated as available.
