International hardware exhibitions are useful because buyers can go beyond the printed catalogue. They can compare physical fasteners, ask how a component is made and explain the problems that occur in their own purchasing and receiving operations. Canco Fasteners participated in the International Hardware Fair (EISENWARENMESSE) in Cologne, Germany, held March 3–6, 2026.

The event brought together a global audience from industrial supply, tools, fixings, building hardware and related product sectors. For Canco, participation aligned with its longstanding focus on industrial fasteners, anchors and export programmes.

Product conversations begin with application

A distributor looking at a sleeve anchor may be concerned about case counts, finish and labeling. An OEM engineer looking at a special bolt will usually focus first on dimensions, mechanical requirements and approval of samples. A contractor may want to discuss installation instructions, supporting documentation and availability for a defined project.

These are examples of the different conversations that a fastening supplier must be ready to support; they should not be described as recorded visitor statements without evidence.

Beyond the catalogue: what buyers can request

Canco's public product and capability information covers mechanical anchors, bolts, washers, specialty fixing components, drawing-based manufacturing and packaging options. At an exhibition or after a meeting, a well-prepared follow-up enquiry should include the exact item description or drawing, expected quantity, specification, destination and commercial terms.

For U.S. companies, it is particularly important to confirm whether threads are metric or Unified inch-based, what documentation is required and what the receiving warehouse needs on each carton.

Turning a trade-show introduction into a sourcing project

A useful next step is to divide the enquiry into three stages: technical feasibility and quotation, sample and document approval, then commercial terms for repeat supply. Buyers should agree on the single point of contact and how revisions will be communicated. This is more practical than treating an exhibition conversation as a purchase commitment.

Canco invites prospective customers to share drawings and specifications for feasibility review through its direct RFQ channels.

Building longer-term international connections

Trade shows give buyers a chance to evaluate product families side by side, but the performance of a supplier is demonstrated afterward: accurate quotations, clear technical questions, transparent manufacturing scope and on-time responses. Canco's work in India and with qualified manufacturing partners is relevant to this follow-up discussion.
