High tensile threaded rod from Canco Fasteners is manufactured in property classes 8.8 and 10.9 to ISO 898-1, and in ASTM A193 Grade B7 for US and export specification. All grades are quenched and tempered to develop full mechanical properties through the section.
Grade 8.8 provides 800 MPa minimum tensile strength and is the standard choice for structural steel connections and general heavy fastening. Grade 10.9 provides 1040 MPa minimum tensile strength where higher clamp load is required in a smaller diameter. ASTM A193 B7 is a chromium-molybdenum alloy specified for stud bolts in pressure, flange and high-temperature bolted joints.
Used for structural steel connections, chemical anchoring studs, formwork tie rods, machinery mounting and anchor bolt assemblies. Supplied self colour, zinc plated or hot dip galvanized.
Supplied in bulk to distributors, importers and hardware brands worldwide, including private-label packaging. Material test certificates issued with every consignment.
