Mild steel threaded rod from Canco Fasteners is manufactured from low carbon steel in property classes 4.6 and 4.8, supplied to DIN 975 and ASTM A307 Grade A. Electroplated zinc finish to ISO 4042 provides corrosion protection for internal and protected applications.
This is the standard working rod for MEP installations — pipe hangers, cable tray suspension, suspended ceilings, ductwork support and strut channel assemblies — where loads are moderate and the environment is dry or sheltered. For exterior or humid conditions, hot dip galvanized or stainless rod should be specified instead.
Available in 1 m, 2 m and 3 m standard bar or cut to length, with threading across the full length.
